This video provides overview of the new features that were released in 2023 that were at no additional charge to the customer. With an app update, you know can do more with the same hardware, that’s the benefit of over the air software updates.
Smart Heat Mode: Automated energy savings mode that quantifies projected energy savings and allows hot tub to be ready based on user’s schedule.
What is Smart Heat Mode? Smart Heat Mode is a new energy saving Mode exclusively for SmartTub® users that use their spa one or few times per week. Customers may turn on the feature by setting up an intended use schedule and the desired water temperature. The spa automatically, using local weather conditions, volume of spa water, spa insulation, spa heating capacity then regulates the heating temperature to save energy during idle periods and ramps up temperature hours prior to customers scheduled use.
What is SmartTub® Integration feature for the FROG® @ease Water Care? We have merged the standard FROG® @ease Water Care app into a new section of the SmartTub® app through our partnership with King Technologies. This is intended to help centralize more functionality in SmartTub® to go along with the “monitor” functionality that exists for items such as “Change Water”. This is a feature that allows customer to test water with test strip, fix problems and check cartridges. With this feature, you’ll be able to test the Chlorination, Alkalinity, pH and Total Hardness of your spa’s water. The SmartTub® application will also provide you notifications for replacing your SmartChlor Cartridges and Mineral.
What is SmartTub® On-Peak, Off-Peak Energy Usage? It is a new way to view the energy consumption of your spa based on customer defined On-Peak and Off-Peak periods. The SmartTub module will need an energy measuring clamp properly installed and then the customer can set up this new reporting feature. These are included with every SmartTub unit.
SmartTub Wireless Sensors: Wireless sensors connect to your SmartTub® device using BLE communication. Easy to install for existing owners and allows you to enhance your security and savings with the remote monitoring upgrade.
Auto Scheduling: This feature allows users to set a schedule for their hot tub time. Select your favorite settings for jets, lights and temperature.
Multi Spa Management: The feature allows SmartTub® users to pair more than one spa to their account. This is ideal for hot tub owners who have a vacation home with a hot tub as well as at their primary residence.
